Happy April Fools' Day! The French equivalent is Poisson d'Avril (Fish of April). The tradition is to slap a paper fish on your friends' backs as a joke. When your friends realize they have fish stuck to their backs, you scream, "poisson d'Avril!" which is kind of hilarious. I didn't see people with paper fish stuck to their backs today, but I did see some elaborate chocolate fish window displays.
